Last Tango

Taswell is a brand of boat designed by Bill Dixon and built by the TaShing boatyard in Taiwan in the late 1980’s – 2002.  An incredibly strong, sturdy, and seakindly boat, Last Tango replaces all the Volvos the McFarlane’s have owned since 1989 (five).

Last Tango is a 1989 Taswell 43’.  She has been extremely well maintained and we plan to do the same under our watch.   Boats in this style with all the sturdiness and beautiful interior teak are becoming harder and harder to find.

In the diagram at left, you will notice there are several configurations of the Taswell ’43, Last Tango is a cutter with a center cockpit, and is represented by Plan B, with the forward cabin having a Pullman bed, as well as a forward head.  In addition, her galley is in the walkthrough between the aft stateroom and the nav station on the starboard side.
